Our wine list is always evolving!  Our servers can answer many of your questions about our wines and how well it pairs with our food selections.  Please do let us know if you'd like to see something special on our list!

Do you know about the Colorado law that allows you to take an unfinished bottle home with you?  Feel confident ordering a bottle!  We'll record and bag the remainder of your wine for your trip home.   Salute!

  • OUR WHITES - generally listed from sweetest to driest

    RIESLING:

    *2007 Hans Christian Piesporter Michelsberg (Germany)

    Tasting Notes:  A light-bodied off-dry wine made near the village of Piesport on the north bank of the middle Mosel region in Germany.

    PINOT GRIGIO:

    2005 Al Verdi (Terre di Chietti, Italy)

    Tasting Notes: Light, dry, crisp and clean with acacia blossom aromas and a balanced flavor.  Hints of green apple and light minerality are hallmarks of this wine.

    SAUVIGNON BLANC:

    2007 Michael Pozzan Lake County (Sawyer Vineyards, Oakville, CA)

    Tasting Notes:  Bright and lively, with lemon and apricot flavors - well-defined floral nose with a tangy finish and a touch of French oak!

    CHARDONNAY:

    * 2007 Crow Canyon Vineyards  (San Martin, California)

    Tasting Notes:  This blend is a clear and bright wine, golden straw in color & lightly oaked, with notes of apricot and pear.  Soft acidity in the finish. 

    2006 Anabella Special Selection (Napa Valley, California)

    Tasting Notes: Full-flavored, medium-bodied wine with a rich concentration of fruit.  it has overtones of apples and pears with a wonderful nose and mouth feel.  A subtle essence of new oak creates a lingering finish.  Great with our pesto chicken pizza! 

     

  • THE REDS (and a blush!)

     

    PINOT NOIR:

     

    Roncier - Table Wine (Maison L. Tramier & Fils France)

    Tasting Notes:  Though not listed on the label, this non-vintage red is definitely pinot noir!  It features a beautiful earthy aroma and a well-balanced palate.

    SHIRAZ/SYRAH:

    2005 The Wishing Tree (Western Australia)

    Tasting Notes: A Special Selection for the Australian Premium Wine Collection -a classic Shiraz, with delicious red and black fruit flavors, and enticing spice and pepper nuances.

    SHIRAZ/CABERNET BLEND:

    2006 BoxHead (72% Shiraz, 28% Cab) (Seppeltsfield, SE Australia)

    Tasting Notes: The impressively-perfumed bouquet runs the gamut from strawberry to plum aromas, with hints of bitter chocolate and espresso.  Sweet Cherry & dark berry notes offer surprising depths of flavor from such a well-priced wine.

    MERLOT:

    *2006 Crow Canyon Vineyards (San Martin, California)

    Tasting Notes: Nicely balanced and easy to drink, this is a lovely 'every day' wine.

    2006 Dante Reserve (Michael Dante Vineyards, Oakville, California)

    Tasting Notes:  medium-bodied, with soft tannins - great with food!

    MALBEC:

    2008 Parados de Don manuel Vellafane (Mendoza, Argentina)

    Tasting Notes: Malbec is the backbone of the Argentine wine industry for a good reason - it's fantastic!  This wine's dense red color gives a full and rich fruit nose of wild berries and black currant.  The mouth is lush and full, leading to a very well balanced and long finish...the true mark of a great Malbec.  (Dru's favorite!)

    CABERNET:

    2006 Annabella  (Michael Pozzan Winery - Napa Valley, California)

    Tasting Notes: This Cabernet is aged for 13 months in French and American Oak. It's a perfect "everyday" wine - it has lovely black currant, blackberry and black cherry  notes.  The fruitiness is complemented by rich earthiness, sweet oak and a hint of anise.  Tannins provide excellent backbone for this wine.  Best when allowed to breathe for a bit.

    2007 Apaltagua Reserva (Colchagua, Chile)

    Tasting Notes: An excellent vintage of deep violet hue and a nose with hints of tobacco and dark chocolate, coupled with ripe stone fruit character.  This wine received minimal handling before bottling to preserve its uniqueness and integrity.

    *2007 Crow Canyon Vineyards(San Martin, California)

    Tasting Notes:  Cinnamon, raspberry and cherry on the nose. bright garnet color. Takes about 15 minutes to open up and mellow the tannin.

  • BUBBLES

    Korbel Brut Champagne (Russian River Valley, CA)

     Korbel was there to toast President Barack Obama at the 2009 Congressional Luncheon immediately following the Swearing-In Ceremony on January 20th. This marked the seventh Presidential Inauguration in which Korbel has been selected for this prestigious honor.  What will you celebrate with Korbel?

    Saurus Patagonia Extra Brut Sparkling Wine (Bod. Schroeder,Argentina)

    Tasting Notes: This award-winning wine features fine, persistent bubbles and plenty of them!  Fruity, with a good complexity and distinctive toasted bread and smoke aromas.  Excellent acidity, good body and a long finish!

  • MEAD - Honey Wine

    Redstone Traditional Mountain Honey Wine  (Boulder, CO)

    Tasting Notes: Mostly orange blossom honey, this mead is medium in sweetness, slightly acidic and warming.   "Unexpected and delicious!"

    Redstone Nectar of the Hops (Boulder, CO)

    Tasting Notes: A dry hopped version of their Nectar that has a bit of bitterness to it.
